LiveArc software updates contain useful new features, enhancements, and bug fixes. The latest software can also be installed on your PC*. All software updates are free!

The current LiveArc software version is 3.0. To check if you have the latest version, login to your LiveArc system as an instructor, go to System Admin, and then go to Software Updates. The version will be listed at the top of the screen.

Release Notes

In current update:

• Support for stick (SMAW) welding (only enabled with purchase of Stick Module)
• General bug fixes and standardization

Includes these previous revision changes:

• Support for multi-pass single-v and single-bevel groove welds across all welding positions
• Support for Spanish language
• Capability to be installed on a PC*
• Arc Parameters: Capturing, graphing, scoring, and storing voltage and amperage for weld tests
• Numerous miscellaneous enhancements

You can download and load example test data onto your PC LiveArc software in order to view real-world simulation and weld test results and report files from a variety of assignment types and users. Download Example LiveArc Test Data >>  (This file must be unzipped and the extracted folder selected as the Backup location via System Admin, Data Backup & Restoration, Find Backups, Restore Selected Data.)

*The LiveArc software can only be installed on your PC if you have access to an actual Miller LiveArc system. Your PC must also comply with these minimum requirements: Windows 7 or 8, 4GB of RAM, .NET Framework 4.5 installed. Must have at least 1GB of free hard drive space to install, but up to 128GB may be required to transfer data to and from the LiveArc system, depending on the amount of assignment test history stored.
