About The Jetline® Mechanical Oscillators
Oscillating the arc can help with sidewall fusion, eliminates undercut, and is required when preforming most overlay and cladding operations.
Features
Mechanical Oscillator
Jetline has two mechanical oscillator systems, the JMO-150-5 and the JMO-80-2. The mechanical oscillator systems consist of a control module, pendant and a motorized slide assembly. Mechanical oscillator systems can be integrated into new Jetline systems, or purchased as a bolt-on package for existing systems. Oscillators can be interfaced with a Jetline 9700T or 9900 controllers.
9900-OSC-2 Control and 9780MSP Pendant
The 9900-OSC-2 Control and the 9780MSP Pendant have the following features: Left oscillation speed control, Right oscillation speed control, left dwell adjustment, Right dwell adjustment, Oscillation width adjustment, Center adjustment, Taper time at the end of the weld, Microprocessor design, Micro-stepper drive, allows for four programs to be saved.
Oscillator slides
Two Oscillator slide options are available, 2 in. and 5 in. stroke capability. The slide assembly includes the following features: Rigid aluminum housing, Precision linear guide rails, Ball screw with ball nut drive assembly, High speed, high torque stepper motor drive, 10 ft. interconnection cable, 80 lbs. at 2 in. from mounting face (2 in. stroke model), 150 lbs. at 2 in. from mounting face (5 in. stroke model).
