Lithium-ion Battery Recycling
We (Miller Electric Mfg. LLC (“Miller”)) encourage dealers, distributors, and end users to responsibly recycle lithium-ion battery packs in accordance with environmental best practices. Proper recycling helps prevent environmental harm and ensures compliance with applicable laws, regulations and safety standards.
When removing a lithium-ion battery from a device, be sure not to disassemble, puncture, or crush the battery. Keep the battery in a well-ventilated, dry area out of direct sunlight. Improper disposal of batteries can pose fire, injury, and environmental hazards. Always follow all warnings, instructions, and safety protocols before disposing of any battery packs. Take precaution when a battery pack shows signs of fault, such as swelling, leaking, unusual odors, excessive heat, or visible damage.
Do not place lithium-ion batteries in the garbage or the general recycling bin.
Recyclers are responsible for complying with all applicable laws and regulations, which may change over time. Miller assumes no liability for injuries or property damage resulting from the recycling of battery packs. For questions regarding proper recycling of lithium-ion batteries, please contact your local authorities or a certified battery recycling service provider.

Some vendors offer battery consolidation services by collecting batteries directly from your facility for recycling. To locate a battery consolidation service in your area, consult local business directories or search online.
