see, the units have to pick up the voltage to make the boards run properly. Have been to hundreds of Service calls where the customer is running the C.R.A.P. factory ground clamps. Yes I said factory CRAP. Lenco for the most part is crap as well. If you see no bronze / brass on there, its crap plain and simple. Really irritates the heck out of me. And a waste of my time.

I have one on all of my welders. You spend North of $5-600 on a machine, what's another $20?

I got all those 400 amp tweco clamps on my stuff. Still have grounding issues on my mig with machine gun starts. It gets irritating and then I throw things.

Default I want a new MIG!!!

Was the 350P ever offered with a quality ground clamp?

Or is this a recent thing and cost cutting strategy while keeping or increasing previous prices?

Mine is a 2007.... and the FIRST thing I did when I got it was to replace that tin clamp with a bronze Tweco.... zero problems.... for an additional $20... why quibble..??...

also extended the work lead to a full 30ft.... why have a 30ft spoolgun or 25ft push-pull with a short work/ground lead...??
    but that is just me....

Ground clamp is going! Work lead will be last change, haven't measured it yet... Don't plan to use the 25' push-pull much

Currently trying to decide on the power connection. The 10' 6/4 SOOW is heavy and short, trying to decide on 25' 6/3 SOOW or just leave the 6/4 and make a 25' extension. Or, best option might be 25' on the MM530P and make a 10' extension with the 6/4...

Still haven't run an inch of wire.... The seller promised 2 rolls of wire, but we haven't connected yet... also has a full "T" Argon bottle and flow meter for $175... Finally bought a Q300 on ebay so I can run steel... Probably will burn some wire this week, I hope!
