Utilizes Latest Inverter Technology
By utilizing an inverter-based AC/DC power source, a more efficient (less energy is used) and consistent welding arc are provided compared to older transformer based TIG machines.
Whether it's in the shop, garage or at the race track, at 50 lbs it can be taken anywhere.
Dependable Arc Starts
Provides HF, non-contact arc starting to eliminate tungsten and material contamination time after time.
Reduce Noise, Maintenance and Operating Costs.
Our Fan-On-Demand™ cooling system only operates when needed. This cuts down on fan noise and reduces power consumption and contaminants drawn into the machine.
Eliminate Waste of Expensive Shielding Gas
Our Auto-Postflow feature optimizes postflow time based on welding amperage. This allows for proper shielding of both the weld end zone and electrode every time without waste of gas or need for adjustment.
Fully Adjustable Amperage Setting
The full amperage range is available from 10-165 amps on both DC and AC output.
Torch Designed for Maximum Operator Comfort
The package comes standard with a Diversion Series foot control and Weldcraft WP-17 TIG torch. Reviews & Ratings

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great for light DC. Needs AC balance. The machine really shines welding stainless motorcycle exhausts. Also good for mild steel, but why not use mig. I've had the machine for 5 years with no problems. I bought it before the 180 came out so I would have bought that instead. I want to get AC balance and freq adjustment for welding dirty castings, so I'll be selling this.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from AC failed Purchased the unit a few years ago and used DC several times with great success. Just tried the AC and all I got was the high frequency starting arc, no power arc. I was able to tough start the power arc. I of course checked the warrenty period and I am a few month past the deadline. This is the first time I tried the AC - My Bad! Robert
