COVID-19 Response | MillerWelds

COVID-19 Response

In response to the coronavirus (COVID-19), Federal and State Governments have begun mandating stay-at-home orders along with the closing of businesses or reduction of employees on-site, with the exception of essential businesses.

As a manufacturer in the welding industry, Miller is deemed essential because we provide products to critical infrastructure sectors as defined by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. We’re maintaining operations in order to provide products to sectors including transportation, energy, food production, petroleum and fuel, mining, construction, national defense and more — while also implementing additional safety measures.

Our top priorities are to protect the health and well-being of our employees and to continue to serve our customers with excellence. We are following guidelines provided by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), as well as state and local governments, to maintain the safety of employees on-site. Our efforts include separating staff by off-setting shift hours or days and/or social distancing. Those employees who are able to work from home have been encouraged to do so.

We want to extend a special thanks to our employees, distributors and vendors who are working together to do their part in these unprecedented times. Your cooperation and vigilance are appreciated.

We also want to thank our dedicated customers for your support and patience as we do our best to deliver the welding products you need. We understand you are also navigating challenges and we will continue to adapt to the current situation in order to best serve you.
