Solutions-based seminars to address specific customer needs regarding automotive welding applications

APPLETON, Wis. (July 29, 2014)  — Attendees of the 2014 SEMA (Specialty Equipment Market Association) Show, Nov. 4 – 7, 2014, in Las Vegas, can explore product benefits and solutions at one of four welding and cutting demonstration areas available from the Miller Electric Mfg. Co. booth, #24113, in the Racing & Performance pavilion, located in the Central Hall of the Convention Center. Visitors to the booth can also try the company’s latest MIG, TIG and metal cutting products and Arc Armor® welding protection, and get general and technical questions answered during scheduled seminars addressing solutions to common problems associated with automotive welding applications.

Miller will present these 20-minute solutions-based seminars live from the booth at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 5 and Thursday, Nov. 6. Following each presentation and subsequent Q&A period, attendees can see and try any products referenced right from within the booth and also access more in-depth videos via the SEMA playlist on the Miller YouTube channel and other product resources at

Topics addressed will include:

  • 10 a.m. — Welding in Your Home Garage: products key to versatility and portability
  • 2 p.m. — Welding with Aluminum: the best process for your specific applications

Free hats will be awarded to guests that attend and stay through the duration of the presentation.

“The Miller booth at SEMA offers visitors a great opportunity to ‘try before you buy,’” said Andy Weyenberg, motorsports marketing manager for Miller Electric Mfg. Co. “We encourage people to ask questions, attend the presentations for solutions to common problems in automotive welding applications and experience the difference of welding with Miller.”

In addition to unveiling two new MIG welders at the show, also new to the booth this year will be the Syncrowave® 210 TIG/MIG Complete welder. Ideal for both light-industrial applications and personal use, the inverter-based Syncrowave 210 welds up to 1/4-inch-thick material in a single pass, supporting AC/DC TIG and Stick processes — and now MIG welding, with the Syncrowave 210 (Auto-Line 120 – 240 V) MIG Complete package with Spoolmate™ 100 spool gun.

The following products will also be in the booth for display and purchase — many with applicable show specials — or that meet the eligibility requirements for the Miller Build with Blue™ rebate program:

Visitors to the booth can also sign up for other Miller giveaways. Up for grabs by a simple scan of a registration badge is in one of the newly unveiled MIG welders. In addition, visitors can enter the 2014 Miller BUILD & WIN sweepstakes to become eligible to be randomly selected to win a Grand Prize package: three expenses-paid trips to some of the most storied sports venues in the United States.
