I don't know anything about corn roasting, however, I'd like to know what kind of heat source you are looking to cook over?

i was planning on useing propane with adjustable temp.

How many corns do you want to cook at once? It sounds like a modified meat rotissery could do the job. Just off the top of my head I can picture a twelve cob system, working inside a bbq.
