Hello my name is Bill and I am a retired pipewelder from Hampton,VA. I have been retired for several years due to an aneurysm. I still do welding at my home from my wheelchair as I was rendered a paraplegic from this medical problem. I just wanted to let everyone know how informative this site has been as I have been lurking here for a while> I have enjoyed reading the threads from so many different welders. Thanks for taking your time to dicuss so many interesting subjects related to welding.

Welcome, I am all so from Virginia , Newport News to be associate. I have posted on the forum a couple of times , once introducing my self to every one , so I wont do that all over agin , you can read that post later if you wont to. I would like to invite you to think about joining the AWS and start attending our local section meetings. As a mater of fact I would like to invite all of the welders in the area to join and attend. Also maybe if you need some help with any of the welding ( TIG ) on the 4x4 wheelchair that you said you might build , I might be available to help. I am all ways happy to read the guys from Virginia post.

Steel Wheels
Welcome!
I am looking forward to your sage advise on this forum! I'm a hobbist welder - my metal work keeps me sane. I love building things, and welding has transformed my approached to all projects!
