    Smile Dusty Welding Jacket

I just purchased a new Tillman 30" Side Split Leather Jacket, but the inside has particles of leather dust everywhere left over from packaging. How can I get rid of the dust?

    Thanks

    Shop vac with brush attachment.

Or use compressed air and blow off the jacket outside.

Throw it in the drier on cool tumble. Also wear old clothes under for a while it will rub off a gold color onto your shirt.

    Peace,

Washing your leathers really wont hurt them. When I was a pipe welder, I would wash mine every few months. Cool tumble dry, or hang dry.

Another hint Judie reminded me that when you wash leather jackets:

Pour in a whole bottle of Downey during the rinse cycle and it wont get stiff. This is a bit expensive but it keeps the jacket pliable and like new softness.
