hey.. i'm new here and was wondering , is there any way to hookup the 3545 gun upto my 251cz the welding distributer said to me "you cant do that you need the 15a or 30a " . I already have the 3545 tho from my old welder. Any help would be appreciated. Thnx.

Is your gun a 14 pin male plug? and if so do all the connections fit?

the gun plug wont fit on my 251. Can i jus cut off the old one and put on a new one that fits?

I dont think that will work but if you want to take a chance that it might then
why not you will probably have to solder all the wires to the new connection though. remmber this might or might not work I know the 15a spool gun is expensive but for what you might put your self through it might be cheeper to just buy the gun I dont know your position$$$$$. hope this helps ya
