    Default Spool Gun Problem

    Why does my wire burn before it comes out the contact tip?

    too high on the voltage ....too low on the wire speed or feeding problems......I'm sure there are more.......more info would help as well.

    I assume you are using alum wire? Make sure the hole is the proper size and make sure the wire slides thru the tip hole when the tip is off, if it is tight go to the next size tip. I ran into problems with the proper size tip it seems they were made too small. Try some more wire speed....Bob
