I had worked in the fuel industry for five years and realized I needed to get out and stay out. So I am building myself an electric sandrail so I will be able to stay away from the high priced gas.Though things would go smoother if I had won the dream shop sweepstakes. Right now just trying to get a rolling chasis so I can plan where to put the 11 batteries, and my controls. Already have a 20hp DC series wound motor to adapt to it. Bought the frame as a tacked kit so I can have the fun of filling in the welds and converting it to an IRS rearend. Any great ideas to put into this project would be appreciated. Would like to attach pictures, but files are too large to post.

tydirium69,
That is a cool project you have, give more details on suspention, drive system, what battery are you going to use?
we need pictures
you can resize the images using paint
Crop part of the picture
save as
that should make it smaller for you to be able to post.

Got a couple pictures in there. Will put more up, when I get past a stage I am trying to complete so I can show it rightside up. Right now, roll cage is holding up to its name.

Send them to me and I can make the file size smaller without making the pictures themselves smaller. And I'll post them back here for ya. staffy@cox.net
