What would be the best material to use to make a dog box to put in the back of my truck? I don't want to use sheet aluminum like the other post. I pefer to use tubing, but what kind and how big.I wanrt it to be light. Thanks everyone.

Why not use some thin wall 3/4" steel tubing and expanded metal. It would be fairly light weight and relativly inexpensive.

I agree...3/4" and 1/2" 16ga square tubing or if you prefer galvanized. use 1/2" EMT electrical conduit.
