Keep in mind it may not necessarily be a UL Standard for all machines. Some are listed with the Canadian Standards. That is my limit of knowledge on this subject. I hope you get your answer.

I know that C22.2 No.60-M1990 covers plasma cutting equipment, but if the welding machine is for US market, which standard should be used? Also, I don't know which standard covers rectifier type machine. Beacuse the socpe of UL551 says that it do not cover that kind of machine.

Many welding machines, including some Millers, in the US Market are listed with the Canadian Standards INSTEAD of UL.
