If using synthetic oil, is a 0-20 grade acceptable to maintain warranty on the Kubota engine??

sure if you reside near the Arctic in the winter, other wise 15-40 Rotella will be best. 0-20 is Wayyyyy too light!

Never run synethic until the engine has been broken in, ie 100hrs or so. So for now 15w40. Once broken in 10w30 diesel grade if its very cold ie below 20 degrees. 15w40 for the rest of the year, if you insist on synethic run 5w-40, but keep in mind i have seen reefer trailers with 25,000 hours on the little kubotas and they were run with rotella 15w40.
