    Orrrr, you can let that screen harden up, short out a couple of the internal board buttons, and take the machine out. Gets $$ and boat anchor time. Seems simple to me.....

    So should those of us with later machines be using something similar as well?
    I'm sure mine is due if so!

    Jeee i love my machines with real switches!

    I can imagine the situation when the wife finds a tube of KY in the rig's glove box.
    Is oil of olay better?

    Yes any machine with the thin front membrane panel. Tire foam is actually quite good for it. I used it on an old Lincoln tig with the membrane push button panel yesterday because of stuck buttons, freed up the panel. Cheap effiecient solution.
