Depends on postion. Vertical up hard to drag, going to be pushed. Flat welds drags best, but it can be pushed.

Depending on the wire, perpendicular to a slight drag angle works best. Pushing you run a risk of slag getting in front of the weld pool.

Going vertical up, gravity keeps the slag back where it belongs.

Pushing you increase the risk of slag inclusion and some possible expensive re-work. I am not willing to risk a repair just to push.

I'm a veteran welder 31 years of experience and have welded everything under the sun,
However, I just started running dual shield wire about 6 months on one of my machines and I honestly don't know, Everything I have done with the dual shield has been pushed, just as I do with hard wire.

( Sometimes you can teach an old dog new Tricks ) Keep in mind, I'm only 47 so I've got another 20 plus years in front of me.

I could retire soon if I didn't have an addiction problem.
( I cant resist buying tools ) There's always that ( If I just had this one last tool I'd be all set)
And then I get the 2014 Miller Catalog and I'm dreaming again.
