    Default econotig

Hello I went to use my econotig today and the tungsten rod will not tighten up? Is there a piece that goes between the brass piece and the back black piece. I looked for a parts breakdown with no avail, the number on the torch is MT-1, thanks for the help.

Take the entire torch to your local welding shop, they can figure out what parts you need, probably the collet. Just make sure that it all fits together before you leave the shop.

Likely that he torch is a #17 or #9 series... probably #17... they can tell you at the LWS

Be aware that the torch will require a collet & collet body that matches EACH size of tungsten that you are using...

For Instance: You may have a 3/32 collet and collet body set installed... and if you try to fit a 1/16 tungsten.... it will NOT tighten up... you will need the 1/16 set... they MUST match
