    Default Snow Plow Bracket Repair

Here in Michigan we have had a winter with so much snow that it has been very hard on the snow plowing equipment. Below is a welding project I just did to fix the bracket that mounts under the truck and supports the snow plow, for one of my customers.

I can relate to that fix, I blasted a curb with my plow and have to pull it off to see if I need to do any repairs

Did you replace it with the same thickness or one size bigger? Looks like a fine job. Always nice to see someone cut it out & do it right vs. just globbing it back together.

I believe that I replaced it with the size that it was when it was new.
The plate had been thinned down due to rusting.

MMW, I was thinking the same thing when I looked at the first pick, and when I looks at the last one I said great, He got rid of the fatigued metal.

Just welding it back is cool to get you back plowing to finish but is just going to break within the next couple of storms.

    Good Job.
