    Default Fuel consumption question

I have Miller bobcat 225 propane, I had 3 tanks of fuel (none were completely full) thru it since purchased. About how many hours can I expect from a full cylinder? Using fork truck type cylinders, 60 lb?

I'd have to get it later, not home to get it real quick... I was just wondering about hrs others were getting... may have a job coming up, just trying to get a ballpark figure about how much fuel to take with me... it has the Kohler engine if it helps...

I just wanted to look in the manual it usually tells how much fuel they use on specifications but I didn't see LP just gasoline.

I have a bobcat 250 and I get about 16 hours on a "hi lo" tank, mostly at hi idle. But I have not run the tank to the point of stalling the motor

What is the hi/low you mentioned? Like a fork lift type cylinders?

Alot of the bobcats have a idle/run switch. It will let the engine run at a lower speed when there is no demand for power. I am still learning to arc weld and I always stick the rod when I use this until the rpms ramp up. So I run mine on high so the power is there when I strike the arc.

Sorry I miss read the last message, yes a forklift lp tank. But most are eather 30 or 40# tanks, we use the 30# tanks on out forklifts, so that's what I run on my bobcat

Just got new tanks in, looked at slip. We use 33# tanks and payed $25.37/tank (metro Detroit), so that was about $1.70/hr. What do the gas version cost
