Did you read the other replies? You need to have the feeder hooked up to close the contactor to get output.

    Did you download the manual?

Did you check that the unit is set up for your input voltage?

Let's take a different approach.... Now bear with me...................

What model and serial number is the suitcase feeder..?? pictures..

The power supply will NOT function without having the feeder (or reasonable electrical equiv/jumper) connected..... they are interconnected and interdependent .... special connectors that provide power to the feeder and connect/actuate the feeder

so...... lets check out the feeder

and if all looks good we might plug int the two smaller cables (115v & Contactor) into the front panel of the power supply and see what happens..

Guess you did not read ALL of my last post...

the part about checking out the feeder BEFORE plugging it into the power supply..

I usually check things out first... I'm not brave enough to go straight to the SMOKE TEST..

here is the manual for the feeder

    http://www.millerwelds.com/om/o1038c_mil.pdf

I would open the covers and do a visual check of the feeder...

check the condition of the cables... a damaged/shorted 115v cable or connector will instantly blow F1 on the power supply..(not unusual on old well used equipment)

    and READ the feeder manual...
