    Default acetylene regulators

IS there any harm in using a acetylene regular cga300 on a MC/cga200 tank? Looking around online I can only find an adapter made by either Western or Forney. Any thoughts on this?

Technically yes it will work. The problem is these tanks are only 10 cu ft. so the draw rate is very small. What do you want to use it for? Anything bigger than a small tip is to big as the tanks can't supply enough acetylene safely. Here is another thread on this.

Do a search on acetylene draw or acetylene 1/7 rule & you will get plenty to read.
