Default Miller 304 PIPE PRO_repetitive noise

Hello. i have not used my welder ( miller 304 pipe pro) for some time. It was kept outside. I am trying to start it now ... engine starts but as soon as generator starts welder makes loud repetitive noise. it sounds like a spark or electric shortcut ... any idea what it could be ? thanks...

I have not experienced this from my Pipe Pro but the first place I would start would be to disassemble as needed and give it a good blowing out, Mice love to build nests in things like this.

Maybe debris is letting it jump an arc between terminals.

Cruizer would have to help you after this.
