    Cool

You can't set your welder up there and use an extension cord on it? Might be cheaper. I have see some extensions but not for that gun...Bob

You may run short of weld power with that length. I know when i run .035 steel thru my spool gun i have to have my machine maxxed out and it doesn't weld well. Drop down a wire size and its fine...Bob

    I run .030 4043
    Ithink ill be ok
I just took the spool gun apart
Looks like the cable has a tube down the center and 4 cables
    2 for the switch
    2 for the motor
Im thinking about leaving the spoolgun alone and building and extension with the 4 wires and tubing running on the outside.
I think it will be better this way .
And only hooking up the extension when needed.
    1. Ill need some brass machined to a female coupler.
    2. Brass hose fittings
    3. some 16g wire.
    4. A male end identical as the one found on the spoolgun.

And I think that will get me going.
    Any advice guys
