Default welding ford e250 exhaust pipe.

I need to cut out and replace a piece of exhaust pipe on a ford e250 van. Is the tubing galvanized or aluminized. What is the proper prep required. Also I will be tig welding it. What kind of filler rod should I use. Is there anything I should do after welding such as coating it with something to avoid corrosion.

    Default if its after 1986....

After 1986 it is a low grade stainless, thus the reason for rust. I normally use standard mig wire, just be sure in clean on the inside and outside.

Default welding ford e250 exhaust pipe.

Second that. Just mig it with the solid wire and make sure it's really clean. Did something similar to that about a year ago turned out great
