Default New to this forum, have a Stainless 17-4 Tig question

I found this forum looking for any info about welding 17-4 SS in 900 HT condition.
    I TIG weld 304 and 316 routinely but I don't remember ever welding 17-4.
    Any help?

depending upon the environment you intend to use that final weldment in and the stress levels in the part you may have stress corrosion cracking problems with that alloy in that temper when you are done.

Sorry, I forgot to mention. We will be fusion welding this without any filler. So the joint will be designed accordingly.

This is a high pressure hydraulic enclosure.
