    Default aluminum driveshaft, check

So I was able to do an aluminum drive shaft, I looked up how to do it and it seemed pretty easy.

Now before you start, this was only to move the truck from his house to the paint and body shop. I told him it was not balanced and also it was not rated for high horsepower. The job over all was pretty easy, the hardest part was making sure the metal was clean enough to weld on. I charged him 100 for the rush job and another 40 for the brackets I extended. over all job came out nice.

I'm assuming you shortened the driveshaft? If so what is it going into? Did you tig it?

The spring hangers look pretty long, did you add extra braces to help with flex?

Yes, I shortened the driveshaft, using gtaw. The drive shaft is going in an all wheel drive truck. The extended braces had no room in the middle but the frame its self will be between the ends.
