Default 3G code best rod to use

I'm doing a 3G code at the moment and I'm using special 7016 rods, should I be using 7018 instead? What's more closer to work situation? Do I run them hot? I use the 7016 on 10mm steel at 105 dc-/+.

And the temp depends on your machine.
    Are you weaving or stringers.
