Hey everyone; I"m hoping someone has a design for a childrens loader/shovel that is used in a sandbox...anybody know what I'm talking about?

I read ya stick...I think what I'd do is run down to my nearest Toy R Us and take some pics of some Tonka toys and go from there. I've seen some pretty ornate and intricate stuff some folks make out of ordinary scrap nuts and bolts, gears and sprockets, and what-have-you. I don't have that kind of imagination, tho.

i think this is what your talking about looks pretty neat but i see the potential for some pinch points so u might have to do some revisions.
