Default Syncrowave 200 shut off & not turning on.

Ive owned this Syncrowave 200 for nearly 2 years. I was welding one of my stainless sculptures yesterday when it shut off. I immediately assumed the breaker flipped. Checked it and it was fine. Even plugged another piece of equipment into the 220 outlet to be sure and its working fine. I inspected all the plugs and cords. Next I took off the outer cover to see if anything looked like it got hot. Everything appears like it should be. Before I take it to be served, I wanted to see if anyone here, my have a suggestion. Thank you for any feedback in advance. Regards, Steve Nielsen

So you turn it on and no display, nothing, or do you have a display.... if you lost a breaker, items will run on 120 being 230. So I have no idea what you plugged into the receptacle. Maybe turn the breaker all the way off, then back on.

If thats ok, maybe the on/off start on the welder switch has failed. Bad news from then on though.

Thanks for the reply Cruiser. The machine wont turn on at all. I plugged a dryer into the outlet and it worked so my wife did a load of laundry last night to find out even though it works it didn't dry the clothes. I was able to talk to a tech at the local Miller dealer and he just told me the same thing. That the dryer can still run on 120. I'm waiting on a experienced electrician to test the breaker and receptacle this afternoon. If everything checks out I'll take the machine into the local service dept. I also checked the on off switch. Shows power when switch is off and no power when switch is on. The tech I spoke to, told me that the machine is not getting a full 230 and the draw from the machine once switched on is why its not showing power.

Yes, you are DEFINATELY missing a phase, your dryer uses 120 to power the motor, and a separate branch of 120 to power the heater for the dryer

Right you are. Had my uncle come by with a volt meter and found half the breaker wasn't working. Problem solved. Thank you kindly for your input.
