Default I Failed on my job the other day.

I was called out to work on heating & Cooling unit on the roof of a building.

The coils are aluminum and when they installed hail guards they put a self drilling into the 3/16" aluminum header which was 1/16" away from the cooling fins coming out of the header.

The fin was paper thin and by the time I had enouph heat to melt the 3/16" material it disinegrated the thin stuff.

There were some holes that were a 1/4" away from the thin fins that I welded up without a problem butt I just could'nt fix the one.

They would not allow me to delete the one fin and weld up the header tube.

Plain and simple ( I met my match ).

Yeah that sounded tough to fix. Don't you hate it when it just cant be fixed properly. Sometimes the live and learn saying is so true. A new coil will solve the issue so it truly is able to be fixed. Good luck.....

I don't get that many jobs and forget a lot of them that turn out ok.

The jobs I couldn't do or turned down I never forget.
