    Anyone around terrell or Dallas Texas want to teach me how to do a branch test

    Not sure what you're talking about..but...if it bends and comes back...it's good. If it just snaps off, it's dead.

    It's a test for pipeline where two pieces of pipe come together at a ninety degree

    90% of doing that successfully is fit-up. Don't even bother striking an arc unless the fit-up is near perfect.

    Sooo its 2 pipes mitred at 45 and welded forming a 90??!!

    I would think it's a Tee joint.
