    Default MillerMatic35S wire feed inop

New to the forum, but could sure use some help on this one...friend dropped off his MM35S and said the wire would not feed. I downloaded the manual from Miller and started troubleshooting. Cr-1 buzzes when you pull the trigger, but does not latch...have pulled cr51 and cr52 and both test okay..I have also tested all the bridge rectifiers and did not find any bad. Can anyone tell me if you can apply a 12 Volt battery to the red and black leads on the motor should it turn??? Any and all help appreciated...Thanks

12VDC on the black and red would do it but that's only half the picture. The motor also needs 24VDC field voltage applied to the brown (+) and white (-) wires to check motor operation.
