This is directed at the Miller guys as I'm sure they would have the correct answer rather than a guess or an opinion....Is there any problem leaving the Mig wire connected inside the cover while also having the Tig wire connected?Does the selector switch cut power to the Mig connector when the switch is set to Tig? I ask because the way things are setting up, the cover is going to be against a wall and I don't want to have to move the machine to open the cover every time I switch from Mig to Tig which is often enough.

The machine will only provide power to the appropriate dinse connector on the front of the machine. When the cable that goes to the drive is disconnected from the front to TIG weld, the drive casting can’t get any power. It boils down to you can leave both connected without having any problems.
