Hello, new to the forum. I have a miller bobcat 225nt with an onan engine. I have replaced the d4 diode and the f1 fuse. For some reason it keeps blowing the fuse. I have checked the r2 rectifier, also checked the new d 4 diode. Checked the capacitor and brush rings also.

Also meant to add....my idle control board popped, will that cause the f1 fuse to keep blowing?

Disconnect "E" from the idle board, replace the fuse, and see if it pops again.
It may be a failed SR2, bridge, or failed exciter coil. Tough to call.

Well, that means a failed SR2 (unlikely but possible), or a failed shorted exciter coil. very likely and big bucks to repair.
