headgear clip on hobart impact broke?!

I JUST got my hobart impact series helmet in and was setting it up. I put the head gear into the clip on the helmet and then I took it out I adjust it and then went to put it back in and it wouldn't lock. I looked at it and the clip that locks the helmet in was stuck inside. I tried to pop it back out but it won't come all the way out. Any ideas on how to fix this?! I really don't want to send it back because I wanted to use it Monday. Anyways in the pic it's the little black piece In the center.
