I have a 50 foot 30 amp 10 gauge RV ext cord. If I cut the RV ends off and put on welder plug ends will it work OK on a Miller 211 on 240 volts? Way cheaper than anything else I can think of and as far as I know 10 gauge should do it?

Depends onthe machine, the 211 would run on 200 ft of 10.
