Is there anyway to reduce post flow on maxstar 150STH? i am wasting a lot of gas on random projects.

I believe it is pre set. How much do you think you are wasting? Post flow helps protect the weld as well as tungsten. I figure if it's gonna flow, its gonna flow on the weld where it will help.

I think the gas post flow is pre-set depending on the amps your running, the hotter you weld the longer the post flow. I have the same problem. Also does anyone have issues with weak HF?

Turning down your CFH to a bare minimum will help.
Sometimes when I'm tigging heavy pipe I actually wish it would stay on a hair longer so Miller had to meet in the middle so ya it stays on a little longer than need be when welding on certain things.
Keep in mind I'm not complaing, Its a great machine.
