Your a little off there, rpm MUST be 62.5Hz, unless your in Europe and several other contries at 50Hz

Since I've been reading this site I started used 62.5 on my welder and generators works good but when I checked this one at work it was 116 v but 50hz and so I checked rpms it about 3710 or 3720 welds alright and runs grinders I'm going to check it again today it's bugging me I was expecting 60hz

False alarm I was pushing the hz button twice it was giving me % which was 49.9 or 50 whatever that means when I pushed it once it was about right 62.3 to 62.5 sorry about that but thanks that's the first time that's happened to me with this meter I've never had to press it twice when I pressed it once it was staying on volts that's why I was pressing again

Find a different meter, start your own post, list your machine type, high idle and low idle volts and hertz at the a/c outlet.
