It is a welding position for various government agencies. WG means Wage Grade. The 10 on the end is pay grade that you will be. It would be a Wage Grade 10 job. the 4 numbers in the middle are the series number. Each position in the government has a series number. That is the identifier for "Welder." If you operate a bulldozer then the middle numbers would be 5716 and the rest would be the same. If you are interested in a government job then go to USAJOBS. But just be prepared to take lots of crap and not do anything. That seems to be how the government operates.
