I built a CNC router a few years back. It is fine for large projects but does not have the precision of a regular mill. I have a mill but it is not cnc. At times I need to do small project like engraving etc and I need to be within a few thou. So I made this small table to put on the bed to hold small parts . It has four screws, one at each corner to adjust it to the same plane as the router travel. The holes are all tapped to hold various shapes.
