306 stick electrode?

I have several pounds of 3/32 rods that I got awhile ago unboxed. The only markings I see on them is 306. They are a light in color, almost white, with a green overcoat that is very lightly & unevenly applied. Kinda like sponged on if that makes sense. There is no rust or corrosion on the stinger end. I assume stainless but can't find any info anywhere. My Hobart book shows 308 as the lowest ss stick rod. Anybody have a clue as to what they are?

Looks like it is an aircraft quality stainless, i have never used it before but it can be welded by all the regular welding processes except for oxy fuel

After some more searching I found a hard facing electrode "Stellite 306". I still don't know for sure so I guess they'll just sit on the shelf some more.

That seems to be the closest I've found. Thanks for finding it. Upon further looking the stellite rod I found is only a tig rod. I'll have to try these out on something that isn't critical.
