Its about -20 and the engine starts but wont weld

I can't blame it, I don't want to weld in that kind of temperature either, don't even want to be outside in those temps.

do themeters light up, are there any codes showing? i have had both of these problems at different times. i just restarted the machine and let it warm up good and it worked fine.
