Cruiser can I use a 10k 1 watt pot instead of a 10K 2 watt pot on my 305G.
Will there be a difference in arc characteristics?

The Wattage is how much heat the pot can dissipate. A 1 Watt pot may get way too hot.

Since a Clarostat 2wt pot is like $6 bucks, why go to anything else.... Besides they are super rare to EVER go out! Never changed one out is like 10 years.
