Well thanks for all the help guys! I've got a good design put together. I need to get some other projects done first. I picked up a 2.5' by 8' piece of 1/2" plate and some 2"x2" square tube today. Going to build a welding table first. Then a cart for my tig/stick setup and plasma and various c-clamps, grinders, etc. Then a tube bender from stacked 1/4" plate plasma cut out to shape. That should keep me busy for a day or two. I have been wishing for a welding table for a while now. I have a compact space so I think that size will work great. I'll post up again in this thread when I get my press built. Hopefully it will be faster than bob!

This guy has designed a near perfect press. I'm planning one similar, but better...

I was just fabbing some 3/8 brackets for work and my cutmaster 42 was struggling to pierce it. The small hole would help tons.
