I own a millermatic 175 welder. I recently acquired a miller spoolmate 200 with the WC-24 controller (my dad used this set up with his XMT driver). My question is can I hook this spoolmate up to my 175 to weld aluminum?

My initial research says no but I can buy a SGA-100 that will allow me to do so. Thoughts or suggestions
