I do alot of purge welding for the dairy industry and am looking for ideas for making rollers to spin pipe on so that i dont have to start and stop all the time. I know that bearing's are no good because of the arcing that can happen internally. Just looking for ideas that might be out there.

look for welding positioners, quite a few threads on it in archives.
for mine i used carbon brushes from 24 volts delco alterntor as rotary contact, it works to my expectations mig welding 1/8-3/8 m.s.
