Hi everyone, I need some help with a purchase that I made two days ago, from a posting on Craigslist. When I brought the machine to my shop and started
really looking at it, the serial number plate that is normally in the front of the machine, it is not. I have contacted the seller and requested for original paperwork, and he told me that he will look and try to find it since the machine is
five years old he does not think he has it.
Is there another way to find the serial number for the machine?

Another possibility is look on the Cat engine itself to see if the engine serial is present. It is located on the right side of the engine behind the fuel injection pump. We can cross this number over to the machine serial number.
