hello, i have a 225 g with the onan performer engine. carb was full of dirt and crud. rebuilt with new parts. runs fine now but will not rev up for welding power. if i push throttle back it runs full speed but governer wants to pull back to idle. any ideas? thanks!

throttle solenoid
The govenor is suppose to pull the throttle back. Does the electric solenoid fot the throttle work?
